Start the new year off in style with a film-filled weekend at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. This very special festival offers an unparalleled look into the world of new foreign cinema. Scores of films offered at Palm Springs are put forward by their countries for consideration by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for nomination in best foreign language picture category, films that may otherwise not be seen in the United States. A fascinating and worthwhile day trip from Palm Springs is a visit to Joshua Tree National Park. We also enjoy bicycling around Palm Springs, bikes can be rented by the hour, delivered right to and picked back up from the hotel.Talk Cinema’s trip to The Palm Springs International Film Festival includes: 5 nights’ stay at the Hotel Zoso, welcome dinner and orientation, admission to the opening night film and after-screening gala, carte blanche access to films during the opening weekend, daily briefings with group leader, and guests, a celebratory farewell dinner, travel insurance. |
