ANSWERS TO A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
The element of surprise is a turn off - Even the most dedicated movie lovers can get a button pushed, email susan@talkcinema.com 24 hours prior to show time if you want to know what is screening.

Postponements - Should Mother Nature send us something incredibly inclement, or a technical difficulty at the theatrical level, or if any other massive disruption out of our control occurs, Talk Cinema will reschedule the screening for a future date.

Security - From time to time (rarely), a film distributor will have security personnel on hand to protect against piracy; security procedures commonly include night-vision technology and bag searches to assure no recording devices are brought into the auditorium.  We know you aren’t there to steal anything – but if and when security personnel are brought in, please know we have done everything in our power to assure the film company we are old hippies come to see a movie – sometimes we lose this fight.

Got children? If you are concerned about the content of a film before dragooning a teenager to get some culture, please email susan@talkcinema.com for the title.

The pandemic still has us closely watching the feasibility of gathering in theatres. We will email regular updates about upcoming screening events. Currently, you may Talk Cinema in Bryn MawrLouisville,  and New York, and we hope to return soon to our other Talk Cinema cities.
